Tristesse Seeliger is a Vancouver artist working predominantly in mixed media using painting and collage. In 2020 Seeliger completed a mural for the Vancouver Mural Festival with their Make Art While Apart initiative. Seeliger has also created a large-scale mural for the Vancouver Mural Festival in 2017. She collaborated on a film for Westbank Corporation, a part of their exhibition, The Fight for Beauty, in 2017. Tristesse is featured in Wired Magazine UK January 2018 issue titled, The Internet is Broken. Her artwork has been featured in SAD Magazine, Scout Magazine, VancouverIsAwesome, and Inside Vancouver, as well as many other art blogs. She is a graduate of Emily Carr University.
